FAQs from Clickandgo
What is the €1 Holiday Deposit and how does it work?
The €1 Holiday Deposit lets you secure an Aer Lingus package holiday to a European Sun or City destination for just €1 upfront. It's available when you book at least 10 weeks before departure. The remaining balance is paid in instalments before you travel. Browse the Clickandgo website to see which destinations and dates are currently eligible.
Does Clickandgo have a Last Minute Holiday Sale on right now?
Yes. The Last Minute Holiday Sale currently includes Sun Holidays, City Breaks, and USA Holidays. Prices start from €292 pp for a Sun Holiday in the Algarve — one deal is currently 19% off, saving €122 per person. Family packages start from €892 for two adults and two children.
Are there specific holiday deals for older travellers?
Yes. Clickandgo has dedicated packages for travellers in the over 50s, over 55s, and over 60s age groups. These are tailored itineraries rather than standard packages, with pricing and options that can differ from the main catalogue. It's worth browsing those sections directly on the Clickandgo website to find what suits you best.
What payment options does Clickandgo offer?
Clickandgo offers flexible monthly payment options and instalment plans. If you book more than 10 weeks out, the balance is due 10 weeks before departure (12 weeks for cruises). Book within 10 weeks and 50% is due at booking, with the balance due 4 weeks before travel.
Does Clickandgo run Black Friday or other seasonal promotions?
Clickandgo does run seasonal sales — the current Last Minute Holiday Sale is a good example, with discounts across Sun Holidays, City Breaks, and USA Holidays. Keeping an eye on this vouchercloud page around key sale periods is a straightforward way to catch any active clickandgo discount or promotional offer as soon as it goes live.
Is Clickandgo a reputable travel company?
Yes. Clickandgo is 100% Irish-owned, a licensed and bonded member of the ITAA, and the official holiday partner to Aer Lingus. They also operate a Total Payment Protection (TOPP) policy, which protects your prepayments. Their Trustpilot profile has over 17,000 reviews.
Are there any extra costs not included in the Clickandgo booking price?
Occasionally, yes. Some hotels, particularly in the USA and Caribbean, charge a local tourist tax or resort fee directly at the property on arrival. This isn't included in your Clickandgo booking total, so it's worth budgeting for it separately. Clickandgo flags this where it applies, so keep an eye out during the booking process.
Can I cancel a Clickandgo holiday and get a refund?
Cancellations are subject to fees that increase the closer you are to your departure date. Some flight elements, Ryanair flights in particular, are non-refundable and must be paid in full at the time of booking. It's worth reviewing the full terms and conditions before you confirm, so there are no surprises down the line.
How do I receive my travel documents from Clickandgo?
Travel documents are emailed to you 10–14 days before departure. They're also available through your MyClick&Go account, so you can access them any time without searching your inbox. Setting up an account at booking is the easiest way to keep everything in one place.
What is the MyClick&Go account and is it worth using?
MyClick&Go is Clickandgo's personal account area. It lets you save favourite holidays, manage your booking, and access travel documents in one place. There's no cost to set one up, and it's the most convenient way to stay on top of your booking details and documents ahead of travel.

How to Apply a Clickandgo Voucher Code at Checkout
Got a click and go promo code? Here's how to use it on the Clickandgo website:
-
Choose your holiday — Sun Holiday, City Break, cruise, or worldwide package — and proceed through the booking steps.
-
On the payment or booking summary page, look for the field labelled 'promo code' or 'voucher code'.
-
Type or paste your code into that field exactly as shown, as codes are case-sensitive.
-
Select 'Apply' and check that the discount has been deducted from your total before you confirm.
-
If the code isn't working, check the minimum booking value, confirm the travel dates fall within the offer period, and make sure the code applies to the holiday type you've selected. Some codes are restricted to Sun Holidays or City Breaks only. Only one code can be applied per booking.
Secure Your Holiday for Just €1 with the Deposit Scheme
The €1 Holiday Deposit is one of the most distinctive offers in Irish travel. Think of it as a one-euro placeholder for your future holiday mood: instead of paying hundreds of euros upfront, you can hold an Aer Lingus package to a European Sun or City destination for a single euro, provided you book at least 10 weeks before departure.
This matters because holiday prices tend to rise as availability tightens. Locking in a price early with a €1 outlay means you're not scrambling for a last-minute deal or overpaying because you waited. The balance is paid in instalments before you travel, so the cost spreads out naturally.
It's worth browsing the Clickandgo website to see which specific Sun Holidays and City Breaks are eligible. The scheme applies to Aer Lingus flights to European destinations, and availability shifts with the schedule.

Exclusive Savings with the Early Bookings Discount
If you already know where you want to go next year, Clickandgo's Early Bookings Discount rewards planning ahead with exclusive pricing that isn't available once you're closer to departure. The discount applies across a range of destinations, and because it's ongoing rather than tied to a specific window, it's worth checking whenever you're starting to think about a future trip.
The practical upside: you get a better price and can pair it with the €1 Holiday Deposit to hold the booking without a large upfront cost. Browse the early booking options on the Clickandgo website to see which destinations are currently discounted.
Tailored Deals for Over 50s, 55s, and 60s Travellers
Clickandgo offers dedicated holiday packages for travellers in the over 50s, over 55s, and over 60s age brackets. These aren't just standard packages relabelled — they're curated itineraries and price points designed around the preferences of older travellers.
If you or someone you're booking for falls into one of these groups, it's worth heading directly to the relevant section on the Clickandgo website rather than browsing the general listings, as the pricing and options can differ from the main catalogue.
Flexible Payment Options and Instalment Plans
Clickandgo offers flexible monthly payment options and instalment plans, which means you don't have to pay for a holiday in one lump sum. The payment schedule depends on when you book:
-
10+ weeks before departure: the balance is typically due 10 weeks out (12 weeks for cruises), giving you time to spread the cost
-
Within 10 weeks of departure: 50% is due at booking, with the remaining balance due 4 weeks before travel
It's also worth knowing that Clickandgo operates a Total Payment Protection (TOPP) policy, which protects your prepayments if there's a financial failure. As a licensed and bonded ITAA member, there's a formal layer of consumer protection in place, something not every online travel agency can say.
One note: some hotels, particularly in the USA and Caribbean, charge a local tourist tax or resort fee directly at the property on arrival. This isn't included in your Clickandgo booking price, so it's worth factoring that in when you're budgeting.
Setting up a MyClick&Go account lets you save favourite holidays, track your booking, and access your travel documents, all in one place rather than hunting through your inbox.
